If life feels heavy right now and you’re not sure where to begin, you don’t have to face it alone. Reaching out for support takes courage, especially when you’ve been the one holding everything together for a long time. My hope is to offer you a place where you can exhale, feel deeply seen, and begin making sense of your story in a safe and compassionate space.
I bring both lived experience and specialized clinical training into the counseling room. After 25 years of marriage, raising six children, and walking alongside women and teen girls through real and often complex life challenges, I understand how layered responsibility, grief, faith, and identity can become. I believe every person has a redemptive story and that God can meet us in our hardest chapters, gently transforming pain into healing, growth, and renewal.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence based while honoring your unique story, strengths, and values. I am trained in EMDR through EMDRIA, a research supported approach that helps people process trauma and other distressing life experiences. I have also received specialized training in Restoring Self Cohesion (RSC), Gottman Method Levels 1 and 2 for couples, and am SYMBIS certified for premarital counseling. Together, these approaches allow me to tailor therapy to your individual needs while creating a safe, supportive space where healing can take place.
I enjoy working with teens, adults, individuals, and couples, with a special passion for helping women and teen girls navigate anxiety, OCD, ADHD, high functioning autism, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, identity concerns, and codependency. Many of the clients I serve are high capacity caregivers, homeschool or adoptive moms, or women experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, chronic illness, miscarriage, or eating disorder recovery. I also have a heart for those healing from church hurt, shame, or spiritual exhaustion, where faith and pain often intersect.
In addition, I enjoy supporting clients through relationship and life transitions, including adoption, pre college transitions, family changes, and premarital and marriage counseling. When desired, I am happy to thoughtfully integrate a client’s Christian faith into the counseling process while honoring each person’s unique journey and beliefs.
Whether you are carrying anxiety, navigating grief, processing trauma, feeling stuck in unhealthy patterns, or simply longing for a safe place to be heard, you do not have to walk through it alone. It would be an honor to come alongside you as you move toward healing, deeper connection, and renewed hope.
