You may feel like you’re holding your family together—but just barely.
Maybe you’re constantly managing emotions, schedules, behaviors, and relationships, trying to keep everything from unraveling. On the outside, it might look like you’re doing what needs to be done—but inside, it feels overwhelming, exhausting, and at times, lonely.
If your family is navigating special needs, blended family dynamics, relationship strain, or behavioral challenges, you may feel like there’s no clear roadmap. Every person in your family has different needs, and trying to care for all of them at once can leave you wondering if you’re doing enough—or doing it right.
You don’t have to carry this alone.
I work with women, children, and families who are right in the middle of these exact challenges. Together, we focus first on what feels most urgent—helping your family find stability and forward movement where things feel the hardest right now. As momentum builds, we gently explore deeper patterns, past experiences, and the underlying dynamics shaping what you’re facing today.
My approach combines evidence-based methods with creative and experiential tools—like art, music, and guided exercises—to help both you and your children express what’s hard to put into words. My goal is not just temporary relief, but lasting change and deeper healing.
My own journey deeply informs this work. Several years ago, as my children left home—one expected, the other suddenly—I found myself in an empty nest, overwhelmed by depression, unprocessed grief, and old abandonment wounds from my parents’ divorce. What I thought was just “empty nest” pain revealed much deeper roots. Through my own therapy, I faced hidden wounds, reclaimed repressed parts of myself, and experienced real healing. This journey not only restored my joy but led me back to my former career as a music therapist.
Having walked through big life transitions, grief, and the complex dynamics of divorce and special needs in my own family, I’m passionate about walking with others through similar seasons. Whether you’re facing empty nesting, divorce, loss, rejection, abandonment, or the unique stresses of raising a child with special needs, I offer a safe, compassionate space to process, heal, and rebuild.
You don’t need to have it all figured out to start.
You just need a place where you can be honest about how hard it’s been—and someone who knows how to walk with you from there.
If you’re ready to find support and begin healing—for yourself and your family—I’d be honored to help.
